These terms are between your organisation and Hawdren Ltd, the company that provides Afanor. By using the website at afanor.com, or by opening a workspace, you agree to them. The person who accepts must be allowed to do that for the organisation.
Hawdren Ltd is registered in England and Wales. Company number 17392723. Registered office: CIWB Business Centre, Llewellyns Quay, Port Talbot, SA13 1RF.
How we handle personal information is in the privacy policy.

The service
Afanor is training management software: a cloud workspace for learners, courses, qualifications, communications and the related records an organisation chooses to keep. The website describes the product, takes enquiries, and lets someone check a certificate or an ID card.
The package you choose sets what is included, such as the number of team logins, learners, centres and storage. Those limits are the ones shown for that package when you subscribe.
Opening a workspace
Creating a workspace opens an Afanor account for your organisation. You choose an administrator, and that person is responsible for who else is invited and for what they are allowed to do.
Keep sign-in details confidential. Tell us at [email protected] if you think an account has been used without permission.
Your records
The learners, contacts, courses, files and messages you put into Afanor belong to your organisation. You decide what to record, and you are responsible for having a proper reason to hold it and to send email or SMS to those people.
We host and process those records so we can provide Afanor. We do not use them for our own marketing. Our privacy policy explains this in more detail.
Course fees a learner pays through Afanor are between your organisation and that person. Card payments are taken by Stripe.
Price and payment
The subscription price is the price shown for your package when you subscribe, including any beta discount shown at that time. You pay monthly or yearly, as you choose, through Stripe. Subscription fees are payable to Hawdren Ltd.
If a payment fails, we can suspend the workspace until it is paid. Prices for a later period can change. We will tell the administrator before a renewal at a higher price.
Closing the workspace
You can cancel by emailing [email protected]. The workspace stays available until the end of the period you have paid for, then it closes.
Ask us before it closes if you need a copy of your records. After closure we delete them from the live service. We keep invoices, and anything else the law requires us to keep.
We can suspend or close a workspace if these terms are broken, if we have to do so for a legal or security reason, or if the service is discontinued. If we discontinue Afanor, we will give the administrator a reasonable chance to take a copy first.
Using Afanor
You agree to use the website and the workspace lawfully. In particular:
- do not attempt to access another organisation’s workspace
- do not upload anything you do not have the right to store or send
- do not interfere with the service, or use it to send harmful or unlawful messages
- do not misrepresent a certificate or ID card check
We provide Afanor with reasonable care. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for decisions your organisation makes about its learners, or for how a social network displays a post after you publish it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If this page changes, the new version applies from the date at the top. The current version is always at afanor.com/terms.
Social accounts
An authorised user may connect your organisation’s Facebook Page, Professional Instagram account, Threads profile, LinkedIn Page or X account, so Afanor can publish posts you create. You confirm that the user is allowed to connect that account.
You are responsible for the posts you publish, and for following that social network’s own rules. Disconnecting the account in Afanor stops further publishing and deletes the stored connection. Posts already published stay on that network until you delete them there.
