Say it plainly
If a training team would not use the words, we should not put them on the screen. Software ought to sound like the work it supports.
About Afanor
Afanor did not begin as a list of features. It grew from years spent helping a real training centre keep learners, courses and qualifications moving.

The idea at the centre
The next conversation should begin with the facts already there.
Why we built it
Training teams already know their learners. The problem is that the facts live in too many places, so the next person to pick up the work has to rebuild the picture first.
Keep the learner, their organisation and the work around them in one usable record.
Plan delivery, fill the room and keep attendance and assessment attached to the same people.
Hold the evidence, see what expires next and follow up before a qualification lapses.

One person. One connected story.
Afanor brings the people you support, the courses you run and the awards you keep in date into the same working picture.
Our journey
The product changed shape more than once. The focus stayed the same: make the everyday work clearer, faster and easier to carry forward.
2012
The first training centre management system was built for a local business and the ordinary work of courses, learners and keeping a centre running.
2019–2022
A second version brought years of practical learning together, including online quizzes that kept assessment alongside the rest of the training record.
January 2025
Version three began from the ground up on new technology, shaped as a SaaS product for training organisations beyond the original centre.
2026
Hawdren Ltd was formed around the product and the team behind it, ready to bring Afanor to more organisations and learn with them.
How we work
These are not words for a wall. They guide what Afanor does, how it speaks and how Hawdren works with the organisations using it.
“Good training work should be easy to see, easy to do and easy to keep going.”
If a training team would not use the words, we should not put them on the screen. Software ought to sound like the work it supports.
The test is not a demo. It is whether check-in, a late booking or an expiring award is easier than it was yesterday.
Afanor grows by listening to the administrators, trainers and learners who live with it every week.
Built by Hawdren
Hawdren designs, builds and supports Afanor in the UK. That keeps product decisions connected to training operations instead of separated by layers of hand-offs.
